Insurance & Billing Policies

Payment

Our fees are a reflection of the care, quality and service provided by our office. Payment for all professional services is due the day of treatment. We are happy to file your insurance claim electronically (in most cases) on your behalf after payment has been received, and your insurance company will send reimbursements directly to you, according to the terms of your contract with your insurance company. The parent or guardian who brings the child for treatment is responsible for payment. We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard and Direct Deposit. As a dental provider, we do not have a contract with your insurance company. Due to the complexities of insurance contracts and the variability of insurance policies, we cannot guarantee your individual coverage, but we will do our best to help you understand your benefits and how they correspond to treatment in our office. Our goal at our office is to provide the highest quality care that your child needs, while at the same time, working with your dental plan to help achieve that goal. We will also send a pre-determination request to your insurance company to review your insurance benefits. Please note, we do not accept assignment of your insurance benefits to our office.

Late, Missed or Rescheduled Appointments

The time we booked for your appointment has been reserved for you. We will attempt to contact you prior to your appointment to confirm the date and time, but you are responsible for the appointment. In consideration of our staff and other patients waiting for appointments, we require at least a two (2) business day notice on all cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Otherwise, there may be a cancellation fee of $100. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment, and therefore, the circumstances for each situation are considered. In addition, school and/or work excuse forms will be provided upon request.
